Jeanie Chung Leddon, MD, PHD

Dr. Leddon is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Leddon completed her medical training at Cornell University, her internship at Yale University and her residency in dermatology at New York University (NYU).

During medical school, Dr. Leddon received the Max Kade Fellowship to study dermatology at the University of Vienna, Austria. At NYU and the University of Vienna, Dr. Leddon received comprehensive training in cosmetic, medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology from some of the field’s most highly respected dermatologists.

She also earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship at the Glaxo Research Institute.

After relocating to Colorado from New York, Dr. Leddon cofounded Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology.

Dr. Leddon has numerous publications on basic scientific research, as well as dermatologic conditions in professional journals. Her experience has led her to appear in the local news media for advice on various skin conditions and on Lifetime TV Women’s Health Series for the treatment of spider veins. Dr. Leddon was also interviewed by Real Simple magazine for her advice on skin care during the winter.

Dr. Leddon is married with two young boys and enjoys running, tennis and skiing. She is fluent in Korean.
