JEANIE CHUNG LEDDON, MD, PHD
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Dr. Leddon is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Leddon completed her medical training at Cornell University, her internship at Yale University and her residency in dermatology at New York University (NYU).
At NYU and the University of Vienna, Dr. Leddon received comprehensive training in cosmetic, medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology from some of the field’s most highly respected dermatologists. During medical school, Dr. Leddon received the Max Kade Fellowship to study dermatology at the University of Vienna, Austria.
Dr. Leddon earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship at the Glaxo Research Institute.
After relocating to Colorado from New York, Dr. Leddon co-founded Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology. Dr. Leddon is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic, where she trains dermatology residents in cosmetic dermatology. Additionally, Dr. Leddon was accepted by the American Academy of Dermatology Leadership Institute for training to advance leadership and communications skills.
Dr. Leddon will join the 2018 Legislative Conference as a member to advocate for health policy issues in Washington, D.C. In 2019, Dr. Leddon will serve as a volunteer educator to train dermatology residents in Cambodia through the Health Volunteers Overseas Project.
Dr. Leddon has published numerous articles on scientific research, as well as dermatologic conditions, in professional journals. Her experience has led her to appear in the local news media for advice on various skin conditions. She appeared on Lifetime TV Women’s Health Series for the treatment of spider veins. Dr. Leddon has also been interviewed by numerous national publications, such as Reader’s Digest and Real Simple Magazine, for her advice on skin care.
Dr. Leddon is married with two sons. She enjoys Colorado’s outdoors and participates in running, tennis and skiing. She is fluent in Korean.
