Meet Our Team


Dr. Gallagher is board certified in dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Contact Dermatitis Society and a member of the American Medical Association.

Dr. Gallagher graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Harvard University. Dr. Gallagher completed medical school and his internship at the University of California, San Francisco, where he received the UCSF-Reiner International Health Research Fellowship, and a fellowship from the American Medical Student Association for a research project in Kenya. While in medical school, he organized and led a medical outreach trip to the Bolivian Andes.

Dr. Gallagher then completed his dermatology residency at New York University (NYU), where he received extensive training in medical, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.

After his residency, Dr. Gallagher was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at NYU. His duties included training dermatology residents and serving as Director of the Residency Selection Committee. Additionally, Dr. Gallagher maintained a busy private practice with NYU’s Dermatology Faculty Practice. He also co-founded the only free clinic for uninsured patients in Manhattan and received university recognition for this contribution to community health.

Dr. Gallagher relocated to Colorado to co-found Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology. He has published work in peer-reviewed medical journals and a dermatology textbook. He has appeared on local radio and in the local press to speak about medical and cosmetic dermatology. He also serves as the dermatology contributor on the Medical Review Board of

Dr Gallagher has served on the Board of Directors for many local organizations, including the Boulder Valley Independent Practice Association, the Boulder County Medical Society, and the Colorado Medical Society.

Dr. Gallagher is married with two sons. He enjoys community service, hiking, running and playing bridge. He is fluent in Spanish.


Dr. Leddon is board certified in dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Leddon completed her medical training at Cornell University, her internship at Yale University and her residency in dermatology at New York University (NYU).

At NYU and the University of Vienna, Dr. Leddon received comprehensive training in cosmetic, medical, surgical and pediatric dermatology from some of the field’s most highly respected dermatologists. During medical school, Dr. Leddon received the Max Kade Fellowship to study dermatology at the University of Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Leddon earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was awarded a post-doctoral fellowship at the Glaxo Research Institute.

After relocating to Colorado from New York, Dr. Leddon co-founded Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology. Dr. Leddon is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic, where she trains dermatology residents in cosmetic dermatology. Additionally, Dr. Leddon was accepted by the American Academy of Dermatology Leadership Institute for training to advance leadership and communications skills.

Dr. Leddon will join the 2018 Legislative Conference as a member to advocate for health policy issues in Washington, D.C. In 2019, Dr. Leddon will serve as a volunteer educator to train dermatology residents in Cambodia through the Health Volunteers Overseas Project.

Dr. Leddon has published numerous articles on scientific research, as well as dermatologic conditions, in professional journals. Her experience has led her to appear in the local news media for advice on various skin conditions. She appeared on Lifetime TV Women’s Health Series for the treatment of spider veins. Dr. Leddon has also been interviewed by numerous national publications, such as Reader’s Digest and Real Simple Magazine, for her advice on skin care.

Dr. Leddon is married with two sons. She enjoys Colorado’s outdoors and participates in running, tennis and skiing. She is fluent in Korean.



Ryan previously served on the BV Derm team as a Medical Assistant, and he has rejoined our practice as a Physician Assistant. Ryan graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in integrative physiology. He earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Marquette University’s Physician Assistant Program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ryan shares our values of patient-centered care in all aspects of our medical practice. We are delighted to have him here and we know you will appreciate the care he brings.


Madison graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Biobehavioral Health. She then earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from King’s College in Pennsylvania. Madison’s goal is to provide the highest quality dermatologic care to our patients and to always practice medicine with compassion and enthusiasm. Madison’s interests outside of work including skiing and hiking. We are happy to have her at BVDerm and know you will appreciate the care she brings.


Zoey is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine, where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Virginia, where she majored in biology, with a minor in bioethics. Zoey worked at a dermatology practice in Virginia following graduation. Zoey grew up living in Guatemala and El Salvador with her family, and she is a fluent Spanish speaker.  Zoey loves Colorado and is excited to expand her professional career at here at BV Derm.
